The Public Conciliator is an impartial expert appointed by the joint agreement between the Government of the Republic, Ministry of Social Affairs, employers and trade unions, who stands in and helps the disputing parties to reach an agreement. To solve the labour dispute, the Public Conciliator appoints a local conciliator (coordinating it with the local government first) or starts to solve it themselves. The conciliator is entitled to ask the powers join the conciliation proceedings.
