On special cases, the employer can demand the employee to work overtime, but only if this is related to unforeseeable circumstances related to the employer’s company or activity. Such circumstances are primarily the avoidance of damage – for example, when the employee does not turn up for their shift but the work cannot stop. Regardless of the aforementioned, the employer cannot demand overtime from a minor or a woman who is pregnant or entitled for a pregnancy and motherhood leave.
